THE MONUMENTAL LIFT & SLIDE DOOR, FEATURING HARDWARE BY HAUTAU, OFFERS THE ULTIMATE SOLUTION FOR LARGE SLIDING SASHES.
The possibilities in this system allow effortless operation, minimal friction, excellent weather resistance and monumental sizes.
The Lift & Slide Door System separates the sliding and sealing from the locking actions, allowing the door to virtually hover over the frame. On opening, the unique bogie design lifts the sash off the frame, the gears engage and the door slides with ease.
On closing, the door panel lowers and the weather seals are engaged and are enhanced by the weight of the sash. The Lift & Slide doors feature high capacity sash sizes allowing for frames of up to 18 metres wide by 3.3 metres high.

HAUTAU ATRIUM HS THERMOTOP
The ThermoTop threshold is for lift and slide panels made from timber or PVC.
The ThermoTop threshold delivers optimum isothermal gradients not just on the sliding sash, but also on the fixed section. This prevents cold bridges from forming, even when the outdoor temperature drops to -15C, because the surface temperature measured directly on the threshold will still be above 10deg.
Running well within the sash, the 9.3 line (condensation line) ensures a “warm” inner surface on the sash as well as on the fixed section. The U value of the threshold: 0.77 W(m2K).
